The WFR Barbarian Clubs are back.

From time to time WFR runs invitational games with either international matches or games against new WFR Clubs to give them a run.

The Barbarians also play touring sides as for example the WFR British & Irish Lions , New Zealand , South Africa or Australia.

They also take part in the odd festival game.

The Barbarians are traditionally pick by WFR Headquarters to represent thier region. And one rule that is in place the Barbarians are to be predominately selected from FREE AGENTS. This give the players a shop window to the WFR Franchises for when they are looking at the Market come Draft Time.

The WFR Board Invitational Team is to be selected with Past WFR Heroe's in mind , those players who no longer play REAL LIFE international Rugby but still ply their Trade at first class level.
